1950/60s mid century G Plan / E Gomme Brandon chest of drawers
G Plan was founded in 1898 by Ebenezer Gomme. The early G plan Brandon range from 1953 carried the gold E Gomme brand stamp rather than the G Plan label.
The Brandon range pre-dated G Plans more Danish influenced designs, and had its own very English post war utility style. The range included sideboards, wardrobes and dressing tables. This is a lovely example of a Brandon chest of drawers. Finished in light solid oak and oak veneer. With set back top drawers.

Minor signs of wear consistent with age and use. NOTE small chip to veneer on top surface which has been filled.
