1959 Set HOLT HOWARD Trio of Pixieware Ashtrays Signed Multi Colors
You are viewing a whimsical Vintage HOLT HOWARD SET of Pixieware Ashtrays, ca: 1959, signed. These fun trays are part of large collection of Pixieware by HOLT HOWARD that will listed this week. This Trio of ashtrays at least I believe they are? Have seen them listed as serving pieces as well! Are bright and colorful, with paint in very nice condition.... Please look closely at all pics.
All pieces are signed Holt Howard and have date listed and paper tags as well. A fun Set to add to your collection! The pieces all measures about 3.0" tall x 3.50" with the tray across about 3.0.
No chips, cracks, flakes or hairlines, really good condition for their age! Shows very little wear if at all. HOLT HOWARD made some of the most whimsical household items back in the 50s and 60s! They are as cute today as they were then and have become quite the collector items.
Holt-Howard of Stamford, CT, was established in 1948 by A. Grant Holt and the brothers Robert & John Howard.They designed ceramic kitchen and gift items. Some of their most popular lines were the Cozy Kitten, Merry Mice, Rooster, Christmas items, Butler and the beloved Pixies (designed by Bob Howard). Grant Holt and John Howard then created their own business, Grant Howard Associates (GHA mark).
