Lovely set of two (2) original vintage blue EAMES HERMAN MILLER fiberglass armshell chairs. You will receive one (1) navy blue on H-base and one (1) medium/royal blue on swivel-tilt base with casters.
MEDIUM/ROYAL BLUE on Swivel-Tilt Base with Casters. One (1) vintage EAMES Herman Miller fiberglass armshell chair in super rare blue color. Comes with original and relatively rare swivel-tilt base with casters (wheels).
This swivel base allows you to tilt the chair. Excellent vintage condition, one of the best Eames armshells we've had the pleasure of owning. No cracks or integral damage, just standard superficial scratches, as depicted. A true collector's chair. Herman Miller logo embossment as well as the Herman Miller paper label with date stamp. Fiberglass threads beautifully visible against the blue. Lovely vintage Eames Herman Miller chair in one of the rarest and most collectible colors. One (1) authentic, vintage EAMES Herman Miller fiberglass arm shell in the uber-rare NAVY BLUE color. "Herman Miller" logo embossed on the bottom of the shell, along with the relatively rare Summit Prime stamp. So classy and gorgeous and better than elephant hide gray at hiding dirt. The fiberglass threads are beautifully visible and only further enhanced by the navy color, as you can clearly see in the photos. This is one of our favorite Eames colors, the deep midnight navy blue that looks almost like a dark denim color under certain light. Such a great-looking chair, and navy blue early armshells seldom become available.Navy blue is one of the rarest vintage colors and one of most gorgeous. Overall excellent vintage condition with no cracks, just age-appropriate wear such as standard surface scratches as depicted in the photos. The shock mounts are original and intact, and the shell retains its beautiful surface sheen, as shown.
The vintage original H-base has typical rust and oxidation. Absolutely gorgeous fibrous armshell, as you can see in the photos.
