A Rare Large Vintage 1950s Mid Century Glass Ceiling Light Lampshade. The lampshade has an iconic Sputnik era shape and design and is in a rare larger size. The lampshade is a single drop light made from glass for fitting to an existing pendant. The Lampshade is made from white cased glass with a stepped design and applied Atomic Era Sputnik decorations in Black and Yellow that are very much of the late 1950s era, these decorations are set onto a centre rim of stippled glass. The shade has a white spun applied finish in other areas.

The lampshade looks excellent when lit. Please see my images for the best details. Age is mid 20th century period. Height is 26 Cm - Shade Diameter is 24 Cm - Fitting hole is standard UK 2.8 Cm Condition is good for age - Points to note..... The Lampshade has only very small marks and signs of life and use.
