A Vintage 1950s Sputnik Ceiling Glass Lampshade Mid Century
A Vintage 1950s Mid Century Glass Ceiling Light Lampshade. The lampshade has an iconic Sputnik era shape and design. The lampshade is a single drop pendant made from glass for fitting to an existing pendant. The Lampshade is made from white cased glass with a stepped design and applied Atomic Era Sputnik decorations in Gold and Red that are very much of the late 1950s era.
The lampshade looks excellent when lit. Please see my images for the best details. Age is mid 20th century period. Recently removed from a home that had not been upgraded in decades. Height is 22 Cm - Shade Diameter is 12 Cm - Fitting hole is standard UK 2.7 Cm Condition is good for age - Points to note.....
