Amazing Vintage Retro Mid Century 18K Gold Flex Snake Collar Omega Necklace 1949
A fabulous vintage English retro Mid Century solid 18K yellow gold graduating flex link Omega necklace, hallmarked to London, 1949. It's unusual to find Omega necklaces in solid 18K gold and from the 1940's mid century period-most were made in the 60's and 70's-so truly fantastic to find such an early example! This gorgeous necklace has been beautifully made in solid 18K yellow gold with fine vertical gently graduating links crafted over a core which lets the necklace flex to fit your neck perfectly. The necklace has a built in push-in hidden clasp and a flip over safety catch. The necklace has full English hallmarks including the London leopard's head, date letter'O' for 1949, the English crown for gold,'18','IG' and'750'. The necklace tests for 18K gold. The necklace measures approximately 17 inches when fully extended and about 12 1/2 inches at rest. The links graduate from about 14mm down to 8mm. The total weight of the necklace is approximately 45.6 grams. The necklace is in very good condition with light gentle all over wear. Thanks for looking and please take a look at my other items!
