Description : Antique Buckbee type banjo by Rhode Island maker Walter Burke. It has an inlaid neck with mother of pearl and is a five string banjo. The wood appears to be mahogany. Size : 33 1/2" long by 10 3/4" in diameter. Condition : The skin is torn and missing some inlay within the neck. Missing fifth string peg, otherwise overall good condition with tarnishing to nickel plating. As with all instruments the strings should be replaced.
