We have a pair of sterling silver horse earrings that would look good with this. This beautiful piece comes from the Art Deco Era! The Art Deco Era is famous for being the "Gatsby" or "Roaring Twenties" Era. A lot of gorgeous and timeless designs in jewelry came out of this period. During the Art Deco Period jewelers often made jewelry upon custom order, this would often take weeks to months to completely craft by hand.
Mid Century Jewelry was all about being big and bold in design and structure. This beautiful jewelry was inspired by the glamorous nature of the Hollywood regency era. Retro jewelry refers to pieces created in the 1940s and 1950s, a period during which jewelry designers were largely influenced by the changes accompanying World War II.
As the name of the period suggests, these designs reflect an infusion of futuristic vision with elements inspired by preceding periods, encompassing a variety of gemstones, shapes, and materials. The necklace includes classic handmade Mid Century Craftsmanship throughout. The Chain itself clasps along one of the connector loops on the pendant. It is very thick and heavy as well as handmade out of sterling silver. The chain has a thickness of 6 mm!
The chain includes hand woven links that are virtually guaranteed to never break on you! Attached at the bottom of the snake link designed chain is a beautiful tri horse Equestrian themed pendant. The pendant would have been handmade and includes a very unique Mid Century look to it.
The necklace chain measures 18 in length by 6 mm thick. The pendant measures 2" long by 2 and 1/2" wide. The necklace clasps along one of the loops on the back of the pendant, it includes a safety clip for security. Antique and Vintage jewelry is disappearing at alarming rates.
