Art deco arthur armour hand made magazine rack, world map hammered aluminum. Click to view image album. This unusual magazine rack was made to last and it did. From what i can find out, this would have been made in the late 1930's - 1940's.
Looking at my pictures you will see this amazing magazine rack from all angles. My first two pictures show the front. It would be perfect for a collection of world maps.
There are animals stamped in countries that the maker felt had a long tradition in the countries. There is a radiating compass design in the lower left corner. The back and bottom has multi balls stamped into the heavy gauge aluminum. This magazine rack measures 12 1/8 x 11 7/8 x 6 7/8 inches.
