Another closed warehouse find by Petie! 1-7/8 diameter Vintage American Wonderfully Marbelized Black Bakelite Round Rod. With a hollow center hole. On one end of the rod is cast into the rod number "68".
Is over 85 years old. Has tested positive using semi-chrome polish. There is NO cracking, splitting or crazes.
The rod would make excellent Fountain pens, Smoking Pipe Stems or Rosary or Faturan Prayer Beads. Has a wall thickness of 0.55 or 1.97cm to make wonderful marbelized beads..
