CZECH 1970s Vintage Wall Clock Eastern Bloc Midcentury Retro Industrial Factory
This 1970s bakelite cased clock was made by Pragotron in Czechoslovakia. The deep case was originally sealed so the lock was safe to use in wet or potentially explosive locations. The bakelite case has cleaned up well from the condition I received her in, and has a satin finish. There is only modest wear in places.
The dial is in very good overall condition and has aged to a bright ivory colour. The logo and minute marks are all crisp. The original glass shows very minor wear commensurate with its age.Overall diameter 37cm, depth 8cm. Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
