Eames Zenith Fiberglass Shell Base Chair 2nd Generation DAX
This specific X-base is the medium height model that came on 2nd generation Zenith armchairs. The 2nd generation base is a bit of a mystery, being the first run without the rope edge. The chair does not have a sticker, although DAX markings (which is not permanent) and hockey puck shock mounts indicate its authenticity and generational period.
The chair is in great condition with signs of normal wear and tear with with no significant damage on the shell or the legs. It maintains an preserved flair having not been attempted to be restored. I will allow local pick-up as well.
