The leather like tag on the back has an "a" above the 501. These are not a reproduction. Size waist 32 length 34. Button fly--back of top button has a. On it--has 5 buttons including the top button-buttons on button fly say "levi strauss & co s f cal" (cap raised letters) w/silver colored back plates. Rivets on pockets say "l s & co s f" (cap letters) w/silver colored back plates.
Single felled inseam has a characteristic vintage over lock stitch; another indicator for the authenticity of the jeans. 5 pockets (front, back and small coin pocket). Mom bought these for dad but he never got the chance to wear them. They have been stored in a dresser drawer in a warm dry climate, so there is no fading of any sort.
