Midcentury Modern Danish Rya Wool Rug Shag Exc Condition Red Orange big 6'x9'
This is a mid century Danish Rya rug that my parents bought sometime in the 60's or early 70's. It is a vibrant red, orange shag rug with no fading. The rug has seen very little traffic but has minor signs of use. It is a less common pattern with a distinctive, groovy 60's vibe. BIG 6 feet by 9 feet! This rug was carefully stored and kept rolled in a bedroom closet for at least 18 years or longer. No musty smell and it has been in a smoke free home.
I looked at it carefully and there is no damage and very clean. There is very minor wear to the shag in a couple of spots, but you would have to be on your hands and knees to see that.
