The Italian term Mangiadischi stands for a portable record player with slot-in mechanism to play 17 cm 45 RPM records. It is designed to be carried in the vertical position and then play when horizontal.
Runs off 6 C size batteries / or mains. Just slip in your 45 RPM single and it plays it automatically, no matter what the size of hole in your record. It stops completely after the record is reaches the end. When you are finished, just press the eject (which is located next to the volume control).
Twin rotating knobs control volume and tone while a push button causes the record to eject. It was available in a range of bright colours, this one is vintage red. Exterior condition is excellent with no cracks or breaks. I can grade it as 9 / 10. Knobs and push button work as they should. Record ejects as it should. Tested with mains - very good results, decent sound, some wow (pitch variation) if you move the unit of shake it.
