A one of a kind iconic custom made hand crafted solid 14K yellow gold fine white earth mined diamond and natural hand carved malachite cocktail or dress ring circa 1970. This amazing ring has sculptural yet sensuous forms. Inset into a roller coaster of vivid green natural malachite is a double row of diamonds following the sensuous unique curves of the setting. It is in mint condition. In total this rare modernist collectors ring weighs 14.6 grams.

The stunning face of the ring measures 9/16" long down the finger and rises 3/8" high off the finger (15mm x 10mm). Currently it is a size 6 3/4 US. The fine claw set round brilliant diamonds in this ring have each been hand set not cast in place as is the practice with mass produced modern jewelry.

In total there are 16 round brilliant cut diamonds VS clarity G color with an average diameter of 1.75 mm for a total estimated diamond weight of 0.32 carats. As this ring is beautiful made it does sit well on the hand due to the well balanced hand crafted make of this unique item. Whilst there is no metal fineness mark this piece has been professionally tested and we guarantee solid 14K yellow gold. I love the silky luster of the polished malachite and it's vivid color which is a stunning contrast to the fine white sparkle of the diamonds.
