Rarest of the rare 50s-early 60s GUCCI calfskin suitcase (8.5 x 17 x 26), Italy. (please see images, as well). MADE IN ITALY, BY, Gucci, 525 marked in gold lettering on oval tan leather tag fastened inside. GUCCI engraved into each lock hasp.

Original Gucci GGGG design jacquard fabric lines the inside of case, in its entirety. Tan (beige) calfskin leather ostensibly divided by Guccis signature green-red-green web -- covers the entire hardsided outer of the suitcase, with reinforcements at the corners, a leather wrapped handle, a matching leather key fob strap & cover, and appropriate gold tone hardware. Risking redundancy, original Gucci GGGG design jacquard fabric in brown, tan & white lines the inside of case, in its entirety, and is complimented by tan (or beige) leather cross straps & top of case elastisized pocket support.

Bottom of suitcase features four (4) gold-toned metal feet, for secure, wear-resistant, placement. Case features the gold tone link attached -- and substantial -- leather wrapped handle, with gold tone metal draw-pull at center (to assist alignment), and two (2) gold tone metal key-lock spring-hasps (to secure cases contents) two (2) keys included. Suitcase is accessed by opening the center draw-pull and the two spring-hasps to reveal.

One (1) large main compartment, with. Two (2) leather cinch straps with gold tone buckles (to assist securing contents). One (1) large elasticized pocket in the upper lid, with a gold tone buckled leather assist strap.
