All of our restored radios will be given full inspection to ALL components and ALL checked and replaced where needed, including all adjustments done with the proper test equipment and refined tuning for a restored optimum performance! Only in certain cases will we sell sets from estate sales ect.

On a "AS IS " bases and this will be stated in the description BELOW! Not seen to often here, exhibiting gorgeous original factory painted Bakelite Bright Red color cabinet, gold painted pointer and dial. This is a Deco radio that exhibits only a few very minor marks flea bite marks noted in or on the cabinet. There are some very faint marks the size of pin heads on the left side and some missing paint from wear on the bottom of the cabinet , remarkable for this vintage and barely noticed and very minor.

Look over all photos for condition! The factory model in the rear says red model 5R-12R, also came in white and walnut color! The back cover is MINT as it would be out of box in 1955, very clean and fits solid for this 60 year vintage! This model has a very retro look with the large center mounted dial pointer and gorgeous mirror finished factory painted cabinet! This radio is in excellent original condition in and out for this vintage! Make no mistake it is Extremely hard to find Raytheon sets of any kind, never mind this rare red model 5R12!!! The power cord is original and is safe for use, with a very mint clean chassis and perfect speaker cone.

Great working condition with strong mellow static free clean sounding audio from the 5 tube design. If you value factory originals from the modernistic Mid Century era this one is for you! You just have to see how well kept this Bakelite painted cabinet exhibits after all these years! Fully bench tested and awaiting a new home or office!
