Retro 1960's vintage Junghans West German clock, mid century Boho Scandi pottery

A genuine vintage 1960's classic. Made by the famous Junghans clock company of West Germany. Stunning glossy white with blue and yellow trim.

Bronze dial ring and hands. Marked with the correct period model numbers. This rare shape and colour scheme. Has the original Junghans W284 correct period movement.

Fully stamped with the correct numbers. Supplied with a winding key, but not the original. Wind up clocks are a bit of a hobby. You have to keep them wound up, and you may have to adjust the accuracy every once in a while. It will need winding at least once a week.

Wind it every Friday and Monday and you can't go wrong. There is an adjustment screw on the back, and with some patience you will be able to get this clock running very accurately. There is also a hanger on the back, so you can easily hang it on a wall.

I have had this clock for years, and it has been bench tested for the last few months. And sounds fantastic, with a wonderful low tone "tic-toc".. Some tarnishing on the dial ring and hands, which could be polished if preferred. Some minor "fritting" around the winder and door striker holes. All pretty typical for a clock this age.
