Retro 1970s Magistretti Designer Bookcase Shelves Cassina eames b&b italia heals
Bookshelves in black lacquered finish, with folding frame. The four central shelves are removable if desired. This incredibly simple folding bookcase is typical of Magistretti's modus operandi in that it was created as a result of an analysis of the product type, followed by reinterpretation of the sum of its parts, bringing together the different sides and shelves. The resulting design pragmatically plays with diagonal bracing to create support for the shelves and eliminate the side pieces. The condition is good with some light scratching to a few shelves.
There are a few broken plastic connectors to connect the top and bottom shelves to the frame. The ones left still do the job though. I have photographed typical examples of what I have described. The dimensions are: 192cm high, 100cm wide and 40cm deep. I always in devour to search for economical carriers.
