Rewired Vintage Vornado Fan A28C-1 Retro Atomic Electric Works Mid Century 18
Here we have a vintage Vornado Fan (Model A28C-1, Serial A4440) made by the O. Sutton Corporation in Wichita, Kansas.
In great working order with 3 distinct speeds. I installed a new power cord. I used brand new cloth covered wire and a NOS vintage GE plug. The wire going from the switch to the motor was still in good condition, so I left that alone. It is in nice condition, but it does have a dent on the top and some scratches and what looks to be a light overspray of paint.
The Bakelite blade is in good condition. This is a good old fan that is sure to give its new owner years more of service. Would also make a great addition to someone's collection.
