A vanity or shaving mirror by Robert Welch for Durlston Designs Ltd. The original Durlston sticker is still attached to the underside as shown. A classic design by Welch incorporating stainless steel and teak with a cyclindrical and adjustable mirror, angular teak stand and steel feet.
The mirror is clean and polished and well looked after. There is some very light wear in places but do not detract and noted for accuracy. All in all in excellent condition for a practical piece nearly 50 years old. A true collectors piece from one of the foremost British postwar designers combining design with practicality.
