Ultra rare GI Joe Defiant Space Shuttle Complex. Not a reproduction this massive toy is in great shape and mostly complete be missing a small piece here or there. I know I'm missing at least one red cannon.

The Defiant: Space Vehicle Launch Complex was first released boxed in U. The playset included two figures - the astronaut Payload and the Crawler/Gantry driver Hardtop. The Defiant playset remains one of the largest playsets ever released, with the original tooling costing nearly 2 million dollars. It was a force to be reckoned with. Consisting of the smaller shuttle, the booster shuttle, and the gantry/platform, all of which were capable of detaching from or attaching to one another.Both shuttles open up to reveal interior playset areas that includ computer terminals, walkways, and in the case of the smaller shuttle, a crane arm. Both shuttles are armed with laser cannons, and the gantry is outfitted with a number of turrets. The launch pad on the gantry could be raised to a vertical position for launch, revealing the interior facilities of the base, with a number of pegs for character placement. I'll throw in a bunch of weapons!
