A once used genuine belgium / german wooden beer crate which has been imported in from germany. These are made of solid wood and are very sturdy and although these are used boxes with lots of signs of wear and are not "like new", they are still good condition. These genuine vintage crates were in regular use up until recently, so they come with a rustic authenticity and no two boxes will be the same. Zes vary slightly from batch to batch as you would expect with an original product sourced from an array of german brewers! Don't be surprised if there's the odd blemish of countryside dirt, century old cobwebs - we won't be washing these crates; perfection isn't always perfect, and their weathered appearance creates a charm we wouldn't want to mess with.
We have 100s of different variaties of boxes from different brewaries in france & germany and all crate are selected at random. The above photos are of our boxes and due to the large amount of variaties. So sadly we cannot guarantee a particular box. An extraordinary feature for any large country kitchen, restaurant, pub etc. As illustrated in the photographs, the larger crate has no bottles, but would be ideal to store wine bottles for any home or catering facility.
