Presenting an exceptional vintage Italian Murano Avem art glass bowl hand crafted by a master Venetian glass artist circa 1950s. This striking larger sized example features an opulent amount of silver foil inclusions and magnificent enlarged murrine canes floating atop a rich, deep amethyst ground. The encased canes burst to live amongst the dazzling silver foil inclusions, which add a stunning sparkle to the glass.
The elegant curved form of the bowl perfectly flaunts the impressive rich inclusions and vibrant splashes of colour. Light dances off the beautifully curved surface.
And magnificent scalloped rim to create a sparkling kaleidoscope of encased colour. This piece looks amazing with light passing through the form, magnificently enriching the gorgeous colours encased within and casting stunning reflections. This exquisite bowl is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are a few exceptionally light surface scratches to the underside, noticeable only on close examination but mentioned for accuracy. Sufficient surface scratches to the quality flat ground polished base indicate this is a genuinely vintage example.
This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This impressive Murano glass bowl stands approx 50mms tall and measures 210mms in width.
