This listing includes FREE UK P&P. This is really stunning mid 20th Century Scandinavian light fitting in a gorgeous chocolate brown and wonderful retro design.
It is clearly a quality mid-century piece which will be really striking this is your statement piece for any Mid-Century modern room. It has a quite a good length of cable attached so it could hang low over a dining room table or even in a stairwell or double height room. Never underestimate the power of brown against strong mid-century colours like orange and green. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident DIYer to fit. It has not been tested but it should be fairly easy to fit if replacing an existing light.
The person who is fitting it should be able to rewire it if necessary. If you have any concerns about safety you should get it PAT tested.A great gift for anyone with 1960s/70s decor, and an ideal prop for any Mid Century period production. A wonderful decorators piece, it is really magical how a statement light fitting like this can transform the whole look of a room. It would look great hanging over a G-Plan dining table, and perhaps even better in a lounge with a large 70s sofa and a bright orange shag pile rug.
In VERY GOOD used condition. There are a couple of light scuffs on the shade but nothing which detracts from the striking style of this statement lighting. It is untested and could possibly need re-wiring though this should be simple enough if it is required. Please remember it is at least 40 years old and has been used in the past.Approx measurements: 23cm (9") diameter, 20cm (8") tall. It takes a standard European style screw in E27 bulb.
