Vintage MID Century 38 Amber Glass Swag Hanging Lamp-big- Retro-vgc
This is such a cool retro hanging lamp. It has a light defuser on the inside of the glass shade, so color will be more consistent. It's a BIG hanging lamp. Have a big spot for it, and it will look groovy! Thus being close to 50 years old, it comes with original 8 foot chain, all in original condition.
As well as the original off/on switch. The pot metal brackets have shed a few flecks of paint.
But to me, that's patina. But one could easily repaint them with spray paint if desired.
At some time, someone spliced the cord, about a foot up, from the plug. It is wrapped in electrical tape, then clear tape, other wise the original cord looks great.But due to age, you be the judge if you want to replace it. I assume no responsibilities for older electrics. So you may want to replace it, or have it checked out. Such a cool vintage hanging lamp!
