Vintage Mid Century Modern Retro Hanging Swag Lamp Light Colorful Lucite Cubism
This lamp was hanging in our finished basement area, "the lounge". I suspect it's been there since the 1970's or earlier as i'm unsure of the age. Our house was built in 1955 but i don't think it is that old. That being said, it's pretty cool. It is used, so has some dust, etc and the cylinder shaped diffuser is discolored and has some heat related bubbling from a bulb that was higher wattage than is recommended. It really doesn't deter from the overall presentation as it's inside. Overall, the lamp is in nice shape (no cracks/repairs) same with the cord/chain (which has a switch in the cord on/off). I'm also including some extra parts that we found in the basement. We are unsure if they originally went with the lamp but they seem to be a pretty good fit. The parts would seem to allow a configuration from the current outlet cord/chain setup to possibly a fixture type installation into a ceiling. Lamp is 11" in diameter x 12 1/2" tall. 18 colored lucite panels in orange, blue, yellow, purple, green and red.
