DANISH 1960S GATE-LEG TEAK DINING TABLE BY G P FARUM. Danish 1960s gate-leg teak dining table by G P Farum. Unusual for a gate-leg table in only having one side with a gate-leg.
It would double up as a writing table when the flat side is put against a wall. This one isnt labelled but weve found others that are with a G P Farum 1960s Danish Furniture Control sticker.
Lovely quality and not a cheap piece when new , but stylish and practical its 135cms in diameter when fully in place , with nice stable gateleg mechanism. Weve cleaned and re-polished it as it had a few marks on it after over 50 years family use. Its now in lovely condition. One of the photos shows it with a set of 4 McIntosh Glenmora teak carver chairs which work particularly well with it.
