VINTAGE RETRO EMPOLI ITALIAN ART GLASS GENIE BOTTLE CASED GREEN mid century. Presenting a wonderful vintage hand blown Italian Empoli art glass genie bottle decanter. This piece features an elegant design. The mid section of the piece shows a sweeping flared almost ovoid shape, beautifully tapering up to its thin slender neck to reveal its wide set rim where the stopper is housed. The stopper also features a sweeping flared design tapering up to then feature a conical point.
This adds to the elegance and visual appeal to the bottle. This all rests upon its excellently proportioned footed base creating balance to the entirety of the piece. The colouring is exceptional with the stopper and footed base both sharing a clear deep Emerald green contrasting perfectly with the green overlay on milk glass cased body.
The footed base also has a ground and polished pontil mark which is a sure sign of quality. This piece would make a fine addition to any Genie bottle or quality art glass collection!!! This piece measures 13.5cm at its widest point in diameter and stands 40cm tall.
