Vintage retro lucite 70s UFO/space age pendant lamp shade, Mid Century lampshade
A stunning vintage 1960s/1970s UFO or space-age style lampshade. The shade is circular and squashed in shape (UFO) and the pattern is curved honeycomb - larger holes in the middle and tighter top and bottom. The lucite is 35mm deep in the middle. The lucite is a clear bright pale peach tone (or warm mushroom).
There's a metal adaptor (reducing ring) to go inside the shade to make the hole slightly smaller (pictured), the adaptor has a 37mm wide inner hole (please check this works for you). The shade itself has a 40mm wide perspex hole. You may need a different adaptor for your particular ceiling light. Suitable for bulbs under 60W (old sticker remains on the top).
For a pendant type ceiling light fitting. Although would also look stunning in reverse on a table lamp. Excellent condition, just a little dust! I can't find any chips or flaws.
No panels out of place, but they can be pushed in and out for alignment. Perfect for a modernist clean white room. As good as you'll find - it's so striking! Sizeable and heavy (just under 2kg). Apx 17cm tall x 35cm wide.
