Great retro vintage lamp base. Great combination brown colour , nice texture surface. It needs to be wired.
It is very good condition, no chips or cracks, small amount of wear. Attractive studio pottery base lamp from Kingwood Pottery (UK) operated by Roy Saywell and Michael Dixon at Wormley, Surrey (UK) with their impressed mark'KP' on the base which was in use between 1956 and 1977; the pair later went on to open Grayshott Pottery.With a strong mid-century design. As with all hand crafted pieces there can be small anomalies arising from the manufacturing process.
