Vintage Retro Sputnik ATOMIC COAT HOOKS Wooden Balls Rack 1950s 1960s
These three atomic coat hooks have yellow painted wooden balls and were produced in the 1950s or 1960s. They are in good all round condition for their age, although there is wear to the black paint and some marks & scuffs to the yellow balls.
Fortunately, they were originally mounted within a wardrobe so they have not accumulated any paint residue over the last 50 or so years. The diamond shaped back plates measure 3 inches x 1 ¾ inches (7.5 cm x 4.5 cm) and the top longest arm of each hook measures 9.5 cm (3 ½ inches) from the back plate to the outer edge of the ball.
