VINTAGE RETRO WEST GERMAN POTTERY VASE MID CENTURY MODERN EAMES ERA. FABULOUS VINTAGE WEST GERMAN POTTERY VASE. Presenting a superb vintage West German pottery vase with an appealing clean-lined modernist form and a sensational vibrant glaze combination. This sleek cylindrical shaped vessel has been beautifully decorated with three wide impressed horizontal bands of floral motifs separated with impressed geometric patterns. This piece has been finished in a deep chocolate brown glaze with a radiant vibrant red glaze atop the wide floral bands.
The thick glossy glazes bleed together, combining to create a beautiful range of tones and random glaze effects. A more slender hooped neck perfectly completes this striking piece. This superb vase is marked to the base with raised lettering 289-27 W.
This fabulous piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This impressive vase stands approx 268mms tall and measures 140mms in diameter. This exquisite piece would make an outstanding addition to any vintage West German pottery collection!
