Vtg 1950s MCM Retro Folding Portable Desk-Table- Crafts Sewing Station, Atomic. Fantastic very retro folding desk/table.
This could be used for many purposes. Perfect for that retro atomic statement with functionality as well. These were used as crafts and sewing tables as well as portable desks.
The table is very sturdy when the legs are engaged. The condition is very nice considering its from the 1950s.
There is slight patina and some fading on the gold plating of the legs, the top seems very nice yet, it has some slight knicks and scratches on the tops and edges, there is a small seperation in the corner of the edge trim (Pictured) but overall the hard black edging is very intact and well seated, edges have some marrs, scratches from use. There is a slight fade shadow from something that sat on the lower table, possibly were a computer or sewing machine sat for years. The table is light weight for easy transport.SIZE- 37" wide x 29 1/4" Tall. When the legs are folded it is a mere 6 tall for easy storage and transport.
This desk is beautiful, its circa 1950s so its not perfect by anymeans, has imperpections throughout, that being said its a very nice antique you can actually use and display proudly. Please enjoy all photos using zoom.
