VTG 50s MAJESTIC Z BOOMERANG LAMP FIBERGLASS SHADES MID CENTURY MODERN RETRO
Vintage MAJESTIC "Z" boomerang lamp with original fiberglass shades. It dates back to the 1950s. The base is made of black lacquered wooden accent pieces that are nestled in between the. Brass rods that make up the base. The fiberglass shades are the typical nicotine color with random black and gold painted designs throughout.
The lamp has an on/off rotary knob located on the black wedge-shaped base. With the shades attached, the lamp stands approx.
26.5 tall x 22.5 wide. Each of the fiberglass shades measures approx. 14" in diameter x 4" tall.The wedge-shaped base measures approx. 11.25" wide x 6.5" deep x 2.25 tall at it's maximum height. Condition: Overall, given its age, the lamp is in pretty descent condition but does need some tlc. There are areas on the black lacquered wood where the paint has flaked away over time but can can easily be touched up. The brass shows a gentle patina that comes with age.
The fiberglass shades are free from rips, holes, tears but do have a few burn marks as shown in pictures. The black whipstitch lacing all appears to be intact with the exception of a few areas, this can easily be restored. The electrical wiring is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. MAJESTIC "Z" boomerang lamp with fiberglass shades.
