WOW! Outstanding 50s Rockabilly Africa Safari Novelty Print Circle Skirt XS Vtg
OUTSTANDING 1950's NOVELTY PRINT SKIRT! - This skirt is really amazing! I don't know where to begin! I guess it's about as funky as a 1950's novelty print skirt can get. First are the very 50's colors- Grey, black, blue , pink, and chartreuse.
On my own laptop the colors aren't coming through correctly. The chartreuse is actually a true lime chartreuse (my laptop is showing it as more yellow hued and lighter), the pink is more bubblegum, and the grey is a slate grey. Then there is the print, a (slightly stereotypical and dated 50's) crazy mix off "African" images. There's drummers, animals, big game hunters, masked dancers, villages, weapons, palm trees, and masks. There's probably more that I've missed!
The skirt closes at the side with three beautiful mother of pearl buttons. It has fading but is not really as faded as my pictures seem to suggest. Overall it's still bright and sure to turn heads!
-Size is an estimated XS. Waist is 25" Hips are full Length is about 30 1/2" from the hem to the top of the wide waistband.
