Antique Mid Century Modern Brutalist Abstract Spire Metal Sculpture, 1960s
This is a visually striking and meticulously made Antique Mid Century Modern Brutalist Abstract Spire Metal Sculpture, welded brass mounted on a stone base, depicting a swirling abstracted spire arising from a calcite (or some other stone) mounting. This work is reminiscent of a Calder kinetic sculpture and is a marvelous work of construction. This piece is unsigned, but perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? This artwork likely dates to the 1960's - early 1970's. Approximately 26 3/4 tall x 8 1/2 inches wide including base.
