This is a very cool and eye-catching Antique Mid Century Modern Impressionist Tabby Cat Kitten Oil Painting on artist board, depicting the portrait of an inquisitive orange tabby cat, who's gaze is directed slightly away from the viewer, as if distracted by a mouse or dinner bell. This work is rendered in an impressionistic manner and has a very intriguing artistic presence.
Unsigned, but perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? Approximately 18 1/4 x 26 1/4 inches including frame. Actual artwork is approximately 16 x 23 3/4 inches.Good condition, with some light scuffing and edge wear to the original period frame please see photo.
