This is a charmingly done and vibrant Antique Mid Century Modern Italian Impressionist Seascape Oil Painting on Masonite, depicting a coastal Italian seaside scene in what is possibly Venice. This work is painted in a thick impasto and impressionistic palette and has a very modern aesthetic. The scene displays old European architecture, a church steeple and small black boats leisurely floating across the harbor. Small figures walk along the cobblestone sidewalks along the water. Signed illegibly in the lower right corner.
