Antique Vintage Mid Century Modern Brutalist Abstract Metal Claw Sculpture
This is a fascinating and incredibly unique Antique Vintage Mid Century Modern Brutalist Abstract Metal Claw Sculpture, depicting a large 4-fingered claw clutching a geometric wire prism. This work appears to be unsigned, but perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? I believe this piece is composed of steel or iron, and approximately dates to the 1960's - 1970's. Good condition, with some light scuffing and oxidation that is to be expected with a metal sculpture of this age. There is a large bolt at the base of the clawed hand, and I believe this sculpture once had a marble or wooden base that kept the piece positioned upright.
This item is difficult to accurately measure, but it is approximately 25 1/2 inches long x 13 1/2 inches tall x 13 1/2 inches wide.
