This whimsical ceramic bank is in the form of a smiling lion. This item measures approximately 10 inches long by 5 inches wide by 3 7/8 inches tall.
Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 8.3 ounces. There is a coin slot on the top of the bank, and beneath there is a hole with a plastic stopper.This would be a fun addition to a mid-century modern decor. Identification This vintage item was made by Baldelli of Italy. It is marked beneath, as shown.

There is a tiny glaze flake to the point to the bottom edge below the lion's mane. It has very light wear overall, with light wear marks to the unglazed foot rim.
