Vintage 1962-64 Mid Century Modern style Carstens Atelier Collection #201 fat lava glazed handled pitcher vase. Designed by Gerda Heuckeroth, form by Hans Siery. Matte pumpkin orange ground under raised dark brown bubbly fat lava matte glazed abstract designs. Hand marked number "201" at underside.
Otherwise unmarked, no labels or tags. A truly beautifully glazed example of this iconic design. In Excellent vintage condition with no damages we can find. Measures approximately 11 inches tall, 2 inches in diameter at the rim exterior, 7.50 inches in diameter at its widest point, and 3.25 inches in diameter at the base.
