Large vintage MCM tribal tiki room Hawaii lounge working head lamps RARE
VINTAGE HAWAIIAN TIKI ROOM HEAD LAMPS. Working pair of giant tiki head lamps. Appears to be a glazed ceramic type construction, very well made. The lamps are a rich dark brown and coppery color.
They're also huge -- they measure approx 27.5" from floor to top of socket, and bases are approx 7.5" square. They cast an impressive gaze and also have a beautiful decorative side profile!
Both are tested and work perfectly and take 3-way bulbs. Only very minor signs of wear, a few small fleck marks where some paint has been removed and very light like marks, but no cracks or chips on these. This particular pair was rescued out of a mid-century modern estate in the early 2000s, at the dawn of the Tiki Revival, and have been kept in storage for nearly 20 years.
