Original Colt Hubley Texans gun and holster set 1940 cap gun toy pistol
I SELL ONLY TO U. I RECENTLY BOUGHT A CAP GUN COLLECTION AND SOME OF THESE ARE THE BEST I'VE SEEN IN AWHILE. BUZZ ME IF YOU NEED MORE INFO. The Hubley Cast Iron Texan is one of the most popular cap guns ever made. The medallions on both guns are the rearing Colt symbol which Hubley was not authorized to use on their cap guns during that era after which these guns then were made with the star medallion. Both guns fire and the cylinder revolves on both(one works a little better than the other). The frames are crack free as far as I can see and the plating is excellent on one and decent on the other with some darkness on the metal(age). They have fired few caps. The white grips are both steer head engraved and in good condition with no chips I can see.
The great fitting(maybe original) holster is really a neat looking western rig with many nickel studs and conchos and red jewels. The leather's not in bad shape but does show wear and the most is at the belts end. The nice buckle and belt tip are matching. To me this is the epitome of the iconic Western rig with the rearing Colt Cast Iron cap guns and a studded real looking holster!
