Rare Floating Teak Shelf by Aksel Kjersgaard / 1960's Mid Century Danish Design. Incredibly lovely and rare teak drawer shelf by Aksel Kjersgaard. Made in Odder Denmark c. Quintessential Danish design utilizing a unique wall mounted shelf with a pull out drawer. The drawer itself has built in little teak stoppers inside so it doesn't slide all the way out accidentally. The shelf mounts to the wall with two cutouts on each side where you fit it around a screw or nail in the wall.

The cutouts are reinforced with a small metal bracket. Everything is in all original condition.

Has been lovingly cared for and kept in excellent shape over its lifetime. Its in beautiful original condition with the nice patina that only comes from old growth teak with the long grain lines and deep color. There are some small signs of use appropriate with age as some small scuff marks on the top surface. Retains original embossed Made in Denmark furniture control label.
