This is an exceptionally rare vintage 1960s example of a two tone blue and orange cone Lucite spaghetti pendant lamp. You commonly find balls and cylinders but this is one of only two cones that I have seen in 20 years. The translucence of the blue Lucite gives it a gemstone quality so that when the light is on it shines like a topaz. It is a beautiful effect like the waters of the southern seas. The thick orange pretzel overlay makes an excellent contrast and accentuates its mid century design appeal. It measures 9 inches long, 3 inches across the top and 6.5 inches across the bottom. This lamp has just been professionally rewired and is ready to hang.
It has also been professionally cleaned, many of these old spaghetti lamps are caked with dust and loose thier gem like shine. It is also damage free, many of these lamps were melted by people using too high wattage bulbs, this particular shade is a survivor and with todays LED bulbs never has to fear that fate.
It would look great in any room. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Vintage, Retro, Mid-Century\1960s". The seller is "papachango" and is located in this country: CA.
