Vntg Mid Century Retro Plastico MFG Deco Lamp with Original Matching Shade
Offered is a Vintage Mid Century Retro Plastico MFG Deco Lamp. This super cool chalkware lamp comes with it's original Matching Shade! It's marked with an engraved c. " This lamp, including shade, measures about 19" tall. The funky retro base is made of plaster or chalk ware and has great bending and swirling indicative of Mid Century ware.
The color is robin egg blue contrasted with white. There is some paint chipping to the base and one small chip (1" x 1/4") that still has the plaster piece attached. Overall, the base is in great condition with only need for light touch up if desired. The fiberglass shade is very unique with the sides matching the robin egg blue, but the sides are textured with a sandpaper like gritty feel. The front and back of the shade is beige with a very cool pair of "swishes" that extend a bit to the other side of the shade. There is slight floxing to the beige sides of the shade. The edges are piped with vinyl piping. The base of the lamp still retains most of the felt bottom. A super cool Mid Century Retro Deco Lamp to add to your collection.
